| Popis: | The development of highly active antiretroviral therapy has greatly improved HIV-infected patient survival. However, the increased life expectancy associated with the management of opportunistic infections might favour the onset of severe organic failure that could require organ transplantation. The use of immunosuppressive drugs in association with antiretroviral therapy will generate pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic interactions. In this context, therapeutic drug monitoring is of great importance to improve therapeutic management of patients. |
