Popis:	For thin steel, high-speed tandem, narrow groove submerged arc welding procedures were developed with improved flux copper backing using advanced waveform power supplies and controlled weld joint root openings. Preferred parameters produced welds that met Navy mechanical property requirements, improved weld bead quality, and doubled/tripled welding productivity.
