Mathematical Model of the Electronic Schemes for Nitride AlN/GaN Nanotubes

Popis: On the basis of the dielectric continuum model, the partial components of the effective potential for an electron localized in the AlN/GaN nanotube are established. By finding the semi-analytical solutions for the system of the stationary Schrodinger equation and the Poisson equation a mathematical model of the electronic spectrum of the nanotube and the distribution of charge carriers inside it is developed. The efficiency and convergence of the iterative procedure for finding solutions of the Schrodinger-Poisson system of equations are investigated. The proposed model was verified by calculations performed on the basis of an experimentally realized AlN/GaN nanostructure.
