Popis: | Steady-state fluorescence anisotropy is shown to monitor the mobility of a small molecule in a plasticzed polymer membrane and yields in formation about the microviscosity in the membrane. The technique was applied to a valinomycin based neutral-carrier K + ion-selective electrode and a relationship was derived expressing the bulk resistance of the membrane in terms of the microviscosity |
