Popis: The article studies the methodology of teaching mathematics of students of non-mathematical professions. It is noted that without proper motivation of students, without explaining them the goals of learning certain mathematical concepts, the learning process can not be sufficiently effective. The emergence of interest in mathematics among a significant number of students depends on the methodology of its teaching. The methodology and particular features of teaching Mathematics at KUН “РUA” are considered on the example of the studying of the subject “Mathematics for Economists” by students of the Faculty of “Business Management”. Moreover, it is demonstrated how Mathematics helps to solve certain economic tasks to attract the interest of the students to get mathematical knowledge. To reach this goal, giving lectures and having practical classes, the theoretical material is illustrated, using simple examples and tasks, having an economic content. Most of the problems are not real, they are invented, and the numerical parameters are selected in such a way that the simplest calculations can be done, solving the corresponding mathematical model. It is concluded that the correctly selected methodology of teaching mathematics courses can be considered as an effective means of improving the quality of knowledge, abilities and skills of students, as well as one of the factors of creating of the attractiveness of an educational institution.
