This paper presents Industry 4.0 approach to design of mechatronic systems with focus on control system development as well as process data acquisition and its further availability across different domains. Classical approaches utilize waterfall methodology for design and implementation of control software in mechatronic devices [1], while in the proposed article a workflow V-model is applied. Comprehensive information about the system topology and its nonlinear model is included. The system architecture was summarized with the use of SysML notation. Finally, the methodology was implemented to conduct a series of experiments on a mechatronic feed drive; results of these conducted tests are also shown. The presented approach is compliant with requirements derived for Industry 4.0 paradigm [2]. |
