Popis: By means of electrical stimulation of the leaves of Elodea canadensis, insoluble crystals of calcium oxalate were formed in the central vacuole of cells of different ages. There was an increase with age in the amount of crystalline material formed; moreover, the amount of cortical calcium per unit of cell surface increased with age.
