This paper deals with the quantification of radiocaesium transport through the aquatic system located in the Chernobyl area. The role of the physico-chemical parameters of water bodies on 137Cs adsorption-desorption processes on suspended materials are discussed. Preliminary in-situ distribution coefficient values (Kd) obtained during a survey around Chernobyl area are presented. |
