The main objective of this experiment is to analyze the emission and performance of Jatropha oil and kerosene blends and to utilize them as a substitute fuel for diesel engines. The hydrotreated Jatropha oil and kerosene were blend in the ratios such as HK10, HK20, and HK30. These fuel blends were tested in the Kirloskar TV1 Engine at different conditions of loads from 0 to 100%. The results were analyzed, and the emission and performance characteristics of the HVO blends were differentiate with pure kerosene and the graphs were plotted. |
