Popis: In solutions containing both inhibitive and aggressiveanions, the linear double-logarithmic relationship between the concentration of an inhibitive anion and the maximum tolerated concentration of an aggressiveanion, also the slopes of the resulting straight lines, are interpreted in terms of ion-exchange equilibria on the surface-oxidefilm on the metal. In most cases, the order of decreasing tolerance of one inhibitive anion at low concentration towards a series of aggressiveanions is the same as the order of increasing aggressiveness of the same anions towards the surface-oxidefilm on the mild steel.
