Popis: | The total destruction of the poly(dithiocarbamate) chelating resin was evaluated with three decomposition procedures including wet (hydrogen peroxide and nitric acid), dry and low-pressure oxygen plasma ashing. In the preferred wet digestion, the resin was oxidised, charred and burnt in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. Tests with up to 12 elements (Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, La, Mn, Ni, U, V, Zn and Zr) demonstrated quantitative element recovery for the three methods. |
