Popis: | In recent years the usage of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) for industrial applications (robotics, process automation, monitoring and control of critical systems) is gaining momentum. The dependability is one of the main pillars for the requirements in these application areas and can be defined in terms of reliability and maintainability. The definition of reliability is dependent on the application requirements. The motivation of this work is to model dependable WSNs so that e.g. the topology or configuration in general can be determined for given requirements regarding the metrics introduced. |
