Popis:	We describe a patient who developed catastrophic consequences of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) post car¬diac surgery, for which she required reoperation using CPB. We also illustrate the impact of intraoperative transe¬sophageal echocardiography (TEE) in the surgical management of this patient.
