Solution of the single-velocity neutron transport equation in a spherically symmetric medium

Popis: THE method developed by Keyes has recently been applied with success to the study of the neutron transport equation in a plane medium. In the present paper the inhomogeneous single-velocity kinetic equation in a spherical medium with isotropic scatter indicatrix and homogeneous boundary condition is transformed into an analogous equation in a plane medium, which can be solved by Keyes' method.
