Reflection Anisotropy Study of ZnTe Around the E1 and E1+Δ1 Critical Points

Popis: | We report on a study of the RA experimental line shape for ZnTe near the E1 and E1+Δ1transition regions. The measured RA spectrum was analyzed using the effective medium theory, the dislocation-induced piezo-optic model, and compared with the calculated normal-incidence reflectance. Results suggest that a simple change of sign in the dislocation-induced piezo-optic model can explain one part of the measured RA spectrum within the studied transitions, and that the first energy derivatives of the measured RA and the calculated R spectra show a similar behavior. No derivative-like, ε-like or 1/ε-like line shapes are observed in the measured RA spectrum. |
