Popis: | Our study focuses on the preschool education stage, taking kindergartens as the main body to explore the dynamic relationship between children’s behavior and the lit environment. And then, we propose interactive lighting design strategies based on children’s cognitive development. Light is closely related to children’s cognitive development, but most of the existing studies on light visual cognition focus on adults. Children’s visual physiological mechanisms and non-visual psychological mechanisms have yet to be fully developed, so current theories on visual and non-visual lighting effects are not applicable directly. We introduce the Swiss psychologist Piaget’s theory of children’s cognitive development to discover the characteristics and preferences of children’s behaviors and activities in different cognitive stages. Then, to tease out the relationship between light and shadow design elements and children’s cognitive development. This paper proposes a phototherapic environment’s construction strategy in kindergarten. This strategy is based on equilibration in the cognitive development theory and includes physiology, intelligence, society, and emotion. This research aims to promote early child development and explore the relationship between children’s growth and environment. |
