Popis:	We propose a procedure for calculating the residual life of a truck spring leaf with a semi-elliptical crackunder cyclic loading conditions and the influence of the operating time. The basis of the procedure is the computational model of fatigue crack propagation, which is based on the energy criterion of fracture mechanics. The results of the residual life calculations for a spring leaf at different values of its mechanical characteristics are analyzed.
