One important parameter to determine the carrying capacity of a land of a region is the rate of infiltration. The objective of this article is to measure and model the infiltration rate in the area of Nusa Putra University Campus. Measurements are carried out to obtain detailed data about the carrying capacity of land around the Nusa Putra Campus to absorb water into the soil. The method used is to use double ring infiltrometer. The area covered is ± 10 ha. The results show that the rate of vegetation infiltration is larger (11.57 cm/h) than in non-vegetation land (7.47 cm/h). The infiltration rate model on vegetation soil condition was f_(cm/h) = -0.023ln(t)+0.2536 and the infiltration rate model on non-vegetation vegetation condition was f_(cm/h) = -0.072ln(t)+0.4465 |
