Due to the electrification of modern vehicles the role of the electric drive is growing as the main mover. In conditions of increasing requirements for the safety and controllability of a vehicle on electric traction, it is relevant when developing an automatic control system to take into account the influence of the position of the mass center on the redistribution of forces in dynamic driving conditions. The work aims to study the influence of the position of the mass center on the dynamics of a vehicle with four-wheel, rear, and front-wheel drive by computer simulation. For these type of vehicles graphs of changes in acceleration, reactions of support, and wheel torques in the process of acceleration at various positions of the center of mass were received. The coordinates of the center of mass that are the most preferable from the point of view of acceleration dynamics in the straight-line section are determined for each drive type. |
