Popis: | The Raman intensity of K2MCl6 (M = Pt or Sn) was analysed using the many-body model, which treats the interaction among induced dipoles. The result was satisfactory of K2PtCl6, but not for K2SnCl6. Some improvements to the model were made. It is concluded that the preferred method for analysing simultaneously the Raman intensity of internal and external modes in crystals is to use the many-body model together with the ordinary method for covalent and/or coordination bonds. |
