The Role of Organizational Commitment as a Mediation of the Influence of Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance

Popis: Work motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment in a company or organization are variables that are thought to be relatively significant in influencing the performance of employees of PT. Indo Karya Optomed. To prove whether or not there is an influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable, a study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the influence of these three variables on employee performance at PT. Indo Karya Optomed. This study used a questionnaire method which was carried out systematically based on the research objectives. The place of research is PT. Indo Karya Optomed, and the number of respondents was 48 people. This study uses 5 Likert scales to measure variables when testing the validity and reliability of variables. This research was analyzed by PLS-based SEM. The survey results show that: Work motivation has no effect on employee performance, Job satisfaction has no effect on employee performance, Organizational Commitment has an effect on employee performance, Work motivation has an effect on Organizational Commitment, Job satisfaction has an effect on Organizational Commitment, Work motivation has an effect on performance through Organizational Commitment, Job satisfaction affects performance through Organizational Commitment. It is suggested to further researchers to add more references related to research. Besides that, it also adds/expands several research locations not only in one company but can be in more than one district
