Popis: | For the first time the relationship is established between the thresholds (probabilities) of excitation of streamer discharges and anisotropy of thermal atomic vibrations of crystal lattices in semiconductors. By the example of cadmium sulphide for the first time the temperature dependence of streamer orientation at 294 K is modelled by doping the samples with lithium impurities; the mean-square dynamic displacements of atoms are measured, and it is shown that the dynamic characteristics of crystal lattices of doped semiconductors cardinally differ from analogous parameters for undoped crystals, but as in purposely undoped samples, their anisotropy determines the temperature dependence of the excitation thresholds of streamers.
