Popis:	Protonation tmd stability constants have been determined for the interaction of macrocyclic ligands containing nitrogen a i d oxygen donor atoms with protons and Zn(n) cations. Information of the nature of the ligand-Zn(I1) complex in solution was obtained using 'H NMR spectroscopy. Macrocyclic lig'mds cont7ining nitrogen and oxygen donor atoms, such as 1,12-diaza-3,4:9,10-dibenzo-5,8dioxacyclopent~decnne (NTOE), 1,13-diaza-3,4: 10,lI -dihenzo-5,9-dioxacyclohexadecnne (NTOT), 1,15-diaza3,4: 12,13-dibenzo-5,8,ll-trioxacycloheptadecane (NEOD), 1,15-di6?za-3,4: 12,13-dibenzo-5,8,11-trioxacyclooctadecaie (NTOD), 1,12,15-trima-3,4:9,10-dibenzo-5,8-dioxacyclohepti~decane (NDOE)
