Popis: | We present a physical model that enables a detailed quantitative analysis of propagation of broadband low-frequency electromagnetic field waveforms through the atmosphere. Our analysis reveals broadband atmospheric transparency regions within which the group-velocity of atmospheric air is unusually weak, enabling distortion-free long-distance transmission of broadband low-frequency electromagnetic pulses. |
