Popis: | The scintillation characteristics of CsI-based inorganic scintillators subjected to a severe plastic deformation were studied. Nanosecond decay times were observed in some samples of severely deformed scintillators. The mechanisms of variations in the characteristics of severely deformed scintillators upon relaxation of their internal stresses were investigated. |
