Popis: | The slow pyrolysis under helium of a high volatile bituminous coal has been studied in the presence or not of ZnCl 2 (1–25 % w/w). The hydrogen evolution is enhanced below 600°C but is not modified at higher temperature. The hydrogen yield increases with the ZnCl 2 loading and the methane production is suppressed. Py-GC experiments show that ZnCl 2 is involved in a low temperature cracking mechanism of the solid. The formation of ZnO and ZnS at 550°C was detected by XRD analysis of pretreated samples (initial loading 10 % w/w). |
