Popis: | Over the last few years the increasing amount of information on plant cell signaling reveals the role of oligomeric protein complexes in perception, transduction, and amplification of signaling impulses. These protein complexes participate also in gene expression, transcript processing, as well as in synthesis, refolding, and degradation of proteins. However, there are scarce data regarding the influence of phytohormones on the production of these protein complex components. The effect of salicylic acid (SA) on these complexes is investigated in more detail. This review summarizes our own and published data concerning the induction by SA of the receptor proteins, some transcriptional factors, the GTP-binding nuclear protein, the nuclear antigen of proliferating cells, two kinds of RNA-bindings proteins, β-CE B translation elongation factor I, molecular chaperons Hsp70, chaperonin 60, 14-3-3 proteins, polyubiquitin, E1-subunit of 20S-proteasome, and subunit 11 of 26S proteasome. |
