Popis: | The purpose of the article is further development of assessment tools of a resource for crankshaft bearings of the internal combustion engines based on the calculation of hydro-mechanical characteristics. We investigated the influence of the transient regime of the internal combustion engine on the resource of crankshaft bearings. We compared the calculated values of the crankshaft bearings of the internal combustion engines resource with the experimental data of other authors. The calculation results showed that during acceleration the minimum thickness of the lubricant layer is increased, and the length of the region, where the minimum thickness of the lubricant layer is less than the critical value, decreases. The greatest wear occurs at the beginning of the acceleration. |
