Inventory of atmospheric CO2 emissions from mobile sources in the municipality of Mosquera through the IVE model

Popis: The CO2 emissions inventory was carried out from mobile sources in the municipality of Mosquera using the international vehicle emissions model (IVE). A vehicle gauging was carried out through a form logging and video cameras for one week in four (4) roads of the municipality with the highest traffic flow, in order to determine the number of vehicles that travel on each road studied, the vehicle fleet was classified according to its technology, vehicle size, fuel type and vehicle usage in nine (9) vehicle categories determined by IVE. Additionally, the Avenza Maps application was used to know average speed, speed second by second, altitude, distance and location; With this information, the acceleration, specific engine power (VSP), RPM index, engine stress and SOAK distribution, data required for the IVE model generates vehicle emissions in the municipality of Mosquera. Finally, it was observed that the emissions total daily in the municipality of Mosquera are 434,302.53 Kg / day.
