In this study, environmental and cognitive factors are focused on to better understand the entrepreneurship and enterprise creation process. The relationships between entrepreneurial tendency and locus of control, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, uncertainty avoidance, and subjective norm are tried to be explained. This research was conducted on 200 students who took entrepreneurship courses and had an entrepreneurship plan at Sakarya University, Süleyman Demirel University, and Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Faculty of Business Administration. Levenson Locus of Control scale, Entrepreneurial self-efficacy scale, uncertainty avoidance, and subject norm scale were used as data collection tools. The main analyzes used are descriptive statistics, validity and reliability analysis, correlation and regression analysis, and other statistical analysis. It is in question that individuals' self-efficacy beliefs, locus of control, uncertainty avoidance perception, and subjective norm perception affect students' tendency to entrepreneurship cognitively. In this direction, as a result of the research, some dimensions that have a high internal locus of control of the students and that affect their entrepreneurial tendencies have come to the fore. In the correlation analysis, positive and negative significant relationships were found between the variables. In the regression analysis, it was determined that entrepreneurial self-efficacy had a positive and low effect on the entrepreneurial tendency. |
