Popis: Organizations today are facing considerable pressure to improve female representation at the top. Recent research suggests that firms respond to this external pressure by hiring more women in senior leadership positions. What impact does this push by organizations for achieving gender parity at the top have on the hiring opportunities for junior women at the lower levels? We explore this question using a unique longitudinal dataset of the 200 U.S. largest law firms as well as online experiment.
