A 3-day training program was designed to increase the use of positive verbal feedback by experienced classroom teachers. Training components included electuring, discrimination training, modeling, guided practice, and feedback. Observations of the trainees' Academic and Management praise rates in their home classrooms before and after the workshop, and at 5-month follow-up, indicated that the training effects were significant, specific to the trained behaviors, and maintained for 5 months. |
