Popis: | Nowadays the use of smart materials it is becoming more and more widespread. One of such materials is Nitinol wich is an alloy composed by Ni and Ti. Nitinol was used to realise a coupling and decoupling device, due to its property to manifest itself in different ways when the temperature changes, under the action of an external force or by applying an electric current. The paper presents the main performances obtained after testing the thermocouple in the research laboratory regarding the coupling and decoupling of the two independent systems at different temperatures, the description of the utilised shape memory material, the determination of its braking torque and the advantages of using the thermocouple, especially rotary electrical machines of different sizes where their ventilation is required. |
