Popis: The paper contains an analysis of the properties and suitable construction of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for the application as the meteorological radiosonde carrier. A general requirement for UAVs is the ability to return from a height of approx. 30 km to the ground and to reach a distance up to 100 km against the wind. There are described types structures of flying-wing and canard in the paper. More appropriate model for high altitude flying was analyzed in ANSYS Fluent to identify UAV critical points and to determine the preliminary flight characteristics of the model structure. In the final part, a suitable model for the implementation as a meteorological radiosonde carrier was chosen.
