Popis: New methods for synthesis of metal nanoparticles (MeNPs) embedded in polyaniline (PANi) structures will open interesting opportunities in advanced applications based on PANi/MeNPs nanocomposites like electrochemical DNA sensors. The synergy of PANi nanostructures and MeNPs offers special electrochemical properties that cannot be obtained by PANi and MeNPs individually. Based on these strategies, in this work, a two-step electrochemical procedure was used to synthesize directly a sandwich-structured polyaniline nanowires/silver nanoparticles (PANi NWs/AgNPs) nanocomposite onto a Pt working microelectrode (with only 0.785 mm2 area). The combination between PANi NWs and AgNPs will be expected to simplify DNA probe immobilization and to enhance electrochemical signals of DNA sensors.
