Popis: Building salt velocity models in complex salt environment is an iterative process where the vast majority of the interpretation effort is spent on a very small portion of the model space. In this paper we present a salt building and editing workflow we named interactive velocity model validation (IVMV) that enables rapid salt scenario testing to reduce the model building cycle time and place the model building process & QC in the hands of the project team geophysicist.
