Popis: | 1. When platinum is alloyed with one element (ruthenium, rhodium, palladium) the variation of the elasticity modulus for the binary alloy with the concentration increases with the elastic distortion in the lattice of the alloy and with the elasticity modulus and melting point of the alloying element. 2. For the Pt−Pd system the elasticity modulus decreases continuously with increasing palladium concentrations up to 100%. 3. The elasticity modulus of the quaternary alloy decreases considerably faster with increasing concentrations of palladium than in the case of the binary Pt−Pd alloy. 4. In the range of palladium concentrations investigated the modulus of elasticity of the quarternary alloy can be approximated with an error of no more than 6% by an equation of type (1). |
