Popis: | Generalized van der Waals theory is a powerful instrument for deriving and applying equations of state. Normally, the basis for the theory is a particular factorization of the canonical-ensemble partition function. We present here an alternative formulation--clean and classical--which allows one to postpone molecular considerations until they are needed. |
