The electro-oxidation of Na[PcCo(CN)2] leads to species absorbed at the electrode surface. This process is the first step of an electrocrystallization. The oxidation mechanism is investigated by comparison of experimental cyclic voltammograms with those generated by digital simulations of a partial square scheme with adsorption of the second redox couple. Values for the two redox potentials, the rate constant of CN− cleavage and the adsorption parameters are derived by direct numerical analysis of voltammetric features and by simulation of the voltammograms. |
