Methods for Determining the Steady State Electrical Model Parameters of Rare-earth Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (RPMSM) based on Nameplate Data

Popis: The steady state electrical model parameters of Rare-earth Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (RPMSM) play an important role in its application. It is more complicated to obtain the electrical model parameters of RPMSM according to the usual methods. In this paper, a method for determining the steady state electrical model parameters of RPMSM is proposed only based on nameplate data. Equations between nameplate data and steady state electrical model parameter are rewritten. In order to obtain the steady state electrical model parameters of RPMSM, the optimization method is utilized to solve the equations. The experimental results demonstrate that the method is feasible.
