Popis:	We have substantially improved the synthetic route for the preparation of 2-(N im -tert-butoxycarbonyl-5-methyl-imidazol-4yl)-2-hydroxyacetic acid, a safety-catch-linker recently developed by us, which allows the direct release of peptide acids into aqueous buffers after Fmoc solid phase synthesis.
