Popis: One of the common causes of diesel engines failures in oil-and-gas machinery and facilities is the late fault detection of fuel equipment. This is caused by the high labor content of the technical control, the need to dismantle the elements of fuel equipment and check them on the test bench. To measure the required engineering factors on any part of the pipeline, it is proposed to use an overhead piezoelectric sensor of the PD-6 type. The study results of the YAMZ-238 diesel engine fuel equipment with the use of the PD-6 sensor showed that at different speed and load conditions, when the cyclic fuel supply changes, the amplitude and the duration of the vibration signal change as well. This change is a valuable diagnostic parameter and allows determining the technical state of the high-pressure pump and injectors. The calculation method of cyclic fuel supply based on the nomogram and vibration signal analysis is given, that will allow determining the fuel consumption and engine efficiency when diagnosing. To record the movement of the needle, the inductive sensor located at the outlet of the injector is recommended.
