During the past 15 years more than 10,000 doubled haploid (DH) wheat lines have been produced in the Cereal Research Non-Profit Company. In a special programme, DH analogues were evaluated in yield trials in 2 locations over two successive generations. Grain yield, variability and quality traits were measured. The adaptability of the doubled haploid forms were tested in four locations under 16 different environments. The tests were supplemented by cytological and RAPD analyses. |
