Vegetation classification map of Palmyra Atoll generated by a machine learning algorithm from a December 2016 WorldView-2 image. File is GEOTIFF format referenced to WGS84, UTM zone 3N. Pixel values correspond to vegetation types as follows: 0=coconut monoculture; 1=native forest; 2=scaevola shrub; 5=non-vegetated land. Pixels with no data represent water. See M.W. Burnett et al.
