Popis:	Modification of leucosapphire by inhomogeneous plastic deformation makes it possible to obtain plates with a varying inclination angle of the optical axis of the crystal to the surface. We have considered the light refraction in a plate upon perpendicular incidence of a parallel beam of rays.
