Popis:	The new alkaloid tadzhaconine has been isolated from the roots of the plantAconitum zeravschanicum and its structure has been established by the x-ray structural method as 1β-acetoxy-11-acetyl-2-benzoylhetisine. The characteristics of the compound investigated are given.
