Popis: | The present study explores experimentally the characteristics of flow rates in branch ducts of multiple passages and the flow pattern in the passages by the smoke tracer method, using a reverse-flow-type rectangular multiple-passage-simulated fuel cell at low Reynolds number, 200≤Re≤800. The flow patterns in the ducts were compared with analytical results by the finite difference method, varying the Reynolds number. It was apparent from computed results that the flow rates in each branch duct were affected mainly by pressure distribution in the main duct combining part rather than the dividing part of flow. |
