This chapter presents biography of Paul Gerhard Braune. The name of Paul Gerhard Braune always be linked with his brave resistance to the Nazi killings of the so-called lives unworthy of life. Life unworthy of life expressed the overall and unremitting justification of the euthanasia operations in Nazi Germany. According to Braune, a large number of the movies audience uncritically subscribed to its message that euthanasia was a humane and painless way to put an end to misery. A law on eugenics including sterilization of persons with hereditary diseases had been adopted in December 1933. Braunes memorandum presented unassailable evidence including exact numbers and singular cases mentioning the names of people killed. It even appeared that the memorandum had been extremely annoying and problematic to the Aktion T-4 and the Nazi regime. Braunes unwavering resistance to the euthanasia program can be seen as his legacy today.
