Popis: | A model is developed to determine the temperature field of the working chamber in a shaft furnace. The PDE Tool MatLab software package and its utility program PDE Tool are used as the development medium. The numerical solution to the problem is refined due to the separation of the following additional calculation regions: heating zones, loss zones, and zones with a high heat capacity. The effect of the geometry of the working chamber in a furnace on the temperature distribution is taken into account. The developed model is used to calculate a two-dimensional temperature field, which can be reflected in various regimes. The developed model can be used to reveal the main physical laws of temperature field distribution and to analyze the temperature changes inside the working chamber in a furnace. The model can also be used to find the parameters of the gradientless zone in the working chamber of a shaft furnace and to solve the problems of optimum control of the temperature fields in shaft furnaces. |
