Popis: | A new mechanism for long range effect is proposed in this study. The decreased density region in the vicinity of dislocations or grain boundaries acts as a gradient waveguide for hypersound phonons generated in the sample oxide layer. As a result of this the elastic wave is conveyed to the sample’s back side with small loss in intensity, causing the rearrangement of defects. This eliminates the difficulty caused by spherical wave divergence in the hypersound model for long range effect. |
